Description
SAIC is seeking a senior institutional research analyst to fill the role of Joint Education Assessment Advisor to supporting the Joint Staff, J-7. The ideal candidate will be an experienced researcher with a background in military education who identifies, collects, maintains, and analyses data from various sources as well as effectively communicates analysis to their target audience.
The position is going to be located out of the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of Joint Professional Military Education performance data and document findings in formal reports written at the 3-Star General Officer/Flag Officer level.
- Plan and report progress of J7 reviews of JPME program processes.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for program reviews and evaluations, analyze JPME performance metrics and brief JPME stakeholders at meetings and conferences facilitated by military and civilian employees.
- Support the implementation of an outcomes-based assessment approach to JPME.
- Develop standardized practices for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports that are created and disseminated.
- Support/coordinate the revision of standard operating procedures as they relate to JPME.
- Represent J7 (without decision making authority) on the Military Education Assessment Advisory Committee (MEAAC), support/coordinate focus group activities, make recommendations to the Military Education Coordination Council Working Group (MECC WG) on program evaluations.
- Effectively communicate analysis through formal presentations, narratives, and written reports tailored to the target audience.
- Serve as resource to provide data-related technical and analytical support to the Joint Education Branch.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of experience; Masters and 13 years or more.
- Active Top Secret Clearance.
- Ability to work with data from multiple electronic sources.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
