My client, a top-performing $1B USD long-short equity hedge fund, is seeking an Investor Relations Senior Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record in fund-raising from institutional clients or private clients. Additionally, experience with global client coverage is highly valued.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fund-raising: Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to raise capital from existing and prospective investors.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors.
- Communication: Assist in creating investor presentations, marketing materials, and other relevant communications.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and organize meetings, conference calls, and events involving investors.
- Inquiries and Information Requests: Handle investor inquiries promptly and provide necessary information.
- CRM Maintenance: Maintain a comprehensive CRM database to track investor interactions and communication.
- Market Research: Conduct research and analysis on market trends and investor preferences.
- Event Organization: Assist in planning and executing investor conferences and events.
- Due Diligence: Participate in the due diligence process for potential investors.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in Investor Relations, Fund Sales, or Fund Business Development from other financial firms.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in investor relations or a similar role within the financial industry is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with hedge funds and financial markets.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for Junior Associate/Assistant roles.
