This position is a Remote role or Phoenix based.
Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive international tax senior who excels as a self-initiator and self-starter to join our dynamic team. Our international team works on the U.S. income tax issues, compliance and reporting for our 180+ foreign subsidiaries. This role would be responsible for maintaining tax compliance and reporting to meet the company's tax requirements. May provide services in tax research, audit responses and other specific tax-related areas.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare U.S. tax forms and related supporting documents/work papers such as E&P, GILTI and Subpart F computations.
- Review U.S. tax work papers and returns prepared by others.
- Prepare or review transfer pricing calculations and studies.
- Perform tax research and provide interpretation and application of tax rules.
- Analyze financial data for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide support to internal customers for tax-related issues.
- Develop and maintain current knowledge of changes in tax legislation, rulings, regulations and litigation that may impact the business.
- Prepare tax provision work papers and summaries for inclusion in global financial statements; evaluate changes in tax law, analyze tax adjustments and tax positions and determine appropriate classification.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge And Skills
- Knowledge and experience in application of accounting concepts (i.e. experience with income statement, balance sheet, journal entries, etc).
- Basic knowledge and experience concerning U.S. corporate income tax laws.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Corptax and Alteryx software are a plus.
- Must possess excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a team-player with the ability to work in a group environment.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
- Must possess the ability to prioritize, organize and accomplish multiple tasks and projects without close supervision.
- Must be analytical and able to work on complex and large-scale projects.
- Candidate should demonstrate a strong aptitude for evaluating complex problems and offering solutions.
Work Experience
- Typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
Education And Certification(s)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
Distinguishing Characteristic(s)
- 1-3 years of experience with a Master's degree.
