Accounts Receivable Resource Responsibilities:
This position will work closely with the Business Office Managers located in a certain region and spend most of his/her time supporting and assisting the BOM’s with their roles and responsibilities. This role will include educating and training the office managers to ensure positive outcomes with Bad Debt, DSO and Cash Collections. The AR Resource will conduct weekly aging reviews with the BOM and administrator to look for patterns and trends to see where training is needed. Will be well versed in all aspects of the Business Office Manager role including posting cash, balancing census, billing, and follow-up. You will also review write-offs, refunds and adjustments and close the facilities at month end.
Accounts Receivable Resource Requirements:
- The AR Resource should have a minimum of 4 years' experience and proven success as a Business Office Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Ability to multi-task in different programs and assist multiple facilities at once.
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
- Proficient in Excel, PCC (Point Click Care), DDE (Direct Data Entry) and RFMS.
- Proficient with billing Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Commercial plans.
- Frequent travel.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
