Job Title: Full Stack .NET Developer
Job Description: Leidos is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. - Architect, design, code, and implement next-generation applications using software engineering best practices in the latest technologies:
- Single Page Application front-end (React, Angular, SASS / LESS, Typescript)
- API development (Web API, REST, JSON, Microservice architecture)
- DevOps (Jenkins, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, SonarQube, UrbanCode)
- Provide software expertise in one or more of these areas: .Net application integration, .Net enterprise services, service oriented architectures (SOA), security, business process management/business rules processing, user experience (UX) and accessibility (Section 508/WCAG/USDS Web Standards).
- Investigate and repair application defects regardless of component: front-end, business logic, middleware, or database (PL/SQL and Data Modeling)
- Brief management, customer, team, or vendors using written or oral skills at appropriate technical level for audience
- All other duties as assigned or directed.
FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field. Master’s or Doctorate’s degree may substitute for required experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of BS degree.
- 4+ years of experience with full lifecycle software development.
- 4+ years of experience with .NET C# systems/application analysis & design.
- 2+ years of combined experience API development, SOA, Microservice architecture, and RESTful web services.
- 2+ years of combined experience with building responsive UIs with modern front-end technologies (React, Angular, SASS / LESS, Typescript).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
- Selected candidate must reside within two (2) hours of SSA Headquarters in Woodlawn, MD. Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site at least 2 days a week.
FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE (Required Skills):
- Excellent experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Web API, Web Forms, DotVVM, MVC, MVP, Razor Pages and concurrent programming.
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or DB2), SQL, and ORM technologies (ODBC / .Net Entity Framework, NHibernate, Dapper).
- Experience migrating web applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core.
- Experience developing n-tier applications using Microsoft .NET technology stack.
- Solid experience with automated unit testing, TDD, BDD, and associated technologies (NUnit, xUnit, Moq, SpecFlow, TestServer, Selenium, Parasoft).
- Solid knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript / ECMAScript 6+, jQuery, ASP, CSS).
- Experience with building responsive UIs with modern front-end technologies (React, Angular, SASS / LESS, Typescript).
- Experience with Visual Studio IDE, and deploying to IIS and Windows Server 2019/2022.
- Experience using Git (Bitbucket, Azure Repos) for version control.
HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills):
- Preferred Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
- Preferred experience with AWS cloud, Azure, or other cloud platforms; AWS or Azure certifications.
- Preferred experience with ServiceNow, ITSM, and migrating projects.
- Preferred experience with gathering business requirements and generating technical requirements.
- Experience developing and deploying Windows services.
- Basic understanding of DevOps (CI/CD) best practices and tools (Jenkins / Azure DevOps Pipelines, SonarQube).
- Experience with API development & monitor tools (Ready API, Swagger, Splunk, Dynatrace).
- Experience with PaaS using Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes, and Docker containers.
- Knowledge of Social Security Administration (SSA) business domain.

Pay Range: $81,250.00 - $146,875.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
