Summary
Responsible for the creation and optimization of the sales process, data, and applications that support the sales team. Enables the sales teams to sell more efficiently and effectively by providing strategic direction, reducing friction in the sales process, and creating productivity and conversion tools for the sales team. Leads efforts to become more data-driven using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to record activities and turn various types of data into actionable information. Assists with onboarding, providing performance feedback, and enablement of the sales teams. Leads the sales collaboration efforts and serves as the primary liaison between Sales, Marketing, and various Operations teams throughout the enterprise.

- Accountable for Sales Processes and Enablement Tools
- Drives the optimization and implementation of the sales process.
- Creates and optimizes sales enablement tools.
- Drives the Use of Data and Information
- Champions the use of data to drive decision-making throughout sales and marketing organizations.
- Drives automation in selling and non-selling activities.
- Builds and optimizes reporting workflow and accuracy.
- Generates data-driven insight and forecasts for strategy planning.
- Identifies, implements, and manages Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Manages analyst(s) in the development of knowledge base including customers, competitors, competitive actions, and sales content.
- Directs and oversees the ongoing development and deployment of our CRM systems.
- Ensures synchronization and optimization of sales technology.
- Prepares and delivers effective presentations to leaders as required.
- Sales Rep Development
- Leads analyst(s) in the analysis and reporting of sales team performance data, including scorecards and dashboards.
- Analyzes performance of sales reps based on various metrics and data and provides feedback for coaching.
- Other Key Functions
- Develops, coaches, and mentors direct reports, as appropriate.
- Evaluates territory allocation and recommends account assignment plans.
- Analyzes and recommends sustainable compensation programs.
- Enables a customer-focused culture by advocating for customers within our operations.
- Partners with Marketing, Sales, and other teams to refine brand messaging, content development, and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Acts as a company thought leader, providing guidance and executing initiatives that contribute to larger company goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience in a sales management, sales finance, or business analytics.
- Skilled in the use of MS Excel at an advanced level, including understanding of advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charting/graphing capabilities.
- Data and/or analytical experience.
- Systems capabilities and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of experience in a sales management, sales finance, or business analytics.
- MBA/Master’s Degree.
- 1-year CRM usage and management.
- Salesforce subject matter expertise, super user experience, or demonstrated deep technical expertise in leveraging the Salesforce CRM system.
- Customer-centric attitude with excellent communication skills; comfortable running discussions with senior leadership.
- Strong Excel skills, including deep understanding of advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charting/graphing capabilities.
Compensation
- Hiring Salary Range: $107,800 - $134,800
- Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
