Notes to ApplicantsThis role is part of Austin Energy's Corporate Quality Services (CQS) team, an internal consulting group dedicated to partnering with various business units, functional organizations, and vendors to enhance the value and delivery of products, services, and information.
The successful candidate will facilitate cross-functional business planning initiatives, lead systematic problem-solving efforts and implement cross-functional process improvement techniques to boost organizational efficiency. This position will oversee the Quality Center of Excellence, SPARQ, and promote a culture of Continuous Improvement across Austin Energy.

Preferred Qualifications- Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives, including developing and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and mitigating risk.
- Experience leading a Quality Center of Excellence (CoE) to establish and promote enterprise-wide quality standards.
- Demonstrated success in leading business transformation initiatives and enterprise-wide projects with PMP certification.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis to identify risks, uncover process inefficiencies, and implement targeted improvements that drive measurable results.

- Uses quality assurance methodologies to assist with current state analysis assessments.
- Conducts continuous improvement projects for business units within the organization.
- Supports risk mitigation evaluations to improve organizational performance.
- Conducts assessments of organizational systems and processes.
- Supports project teams and organizational change efforts.
- Conducts continual improvement training.
- Supports the organization's quality center of excellence.
