As a managing consultant in the Data Driven Transformation Practice of Capgemini Invent, you will help clients in the manufacturing sectors transform and improve their operations by leveraging insights from underlying business, process, and machine data. You will provide supervision and hands-on delivery—advising our clients and teams of engineers on solution approach, design, implementation, and roll-out of technical solutions. You are a key expert in building innovative technical solutions and can implement those by yourself or together with a team of consultants, data scientists, and engineers from client side and Capgemini.
Responsibilities:
- You will be an expert in and help run energetic workshops with clients to identify pain points, desires, as-is situation, solution path, solution design, etc.
- You will define and own solution approaches, and technical designs and advise on solution development, testing, and roll-out.
- You will lead small teams of technical experts and engineers that help build technical solutions, but you also build components of technical solutions on your own (e.g. ML Models, anomaly detection algorithms, etc.)
- You will find and cultivate opportunities for improvement and grow the business within your space.
- You will help promote program/solution/team success internally and at the client.
- You will contribute and drive some of the AI/Analytics deals to grow our team.
- You will build client trust and close collaboration to drive the projects and manage the risks.
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree, B.S. (M.S. or MBA with STEM background preferred).
- Agile knowledge and expertise.
- Operations, Supply Chain and Manufacturing industry experience.
- Knowledge on AI/Analytics tools landscape (Palantir (AIP), C3.AI, Cognite, AWS, Microsoft, SEEQ…).
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts such as IoT, Edge, Data Hub, predictive maintenance, Digital thread, control tower and others.
- Experience with some of these programming languages such as Python, SQL, JAVA, C++, C, MATLAB.
- Knowledge of Data Standards and Manufacturing Standards and Capabilities.
- Experience in process mapping and ability to identify system/process weaknesses and areas for possible issues.
Functionally:
- You have a great understanding of the world of manufacturing and maintenance operations and its processes, concepts, and best practices and have been part of Industry 4.0 type initiatives and/or transformations.
- You understand the value of data and have experience in processing transactional and time-series data from various sources.
- You have great knowledge and experience in digital signal processing, statistical process control, and machine learning.
- You know data acquisition, distribution, processing, and visualization technologies used in the manufacturing domain (sensors, IoT, data platforms, dashboarding, and BI tools).
- You can explain complex subjects simply and clearly to technical experts and business experts alike.
- You can identify opportunities for improvement, define and cultivate use cases, and create associated business cases.
