Springfield's leading independent automotive facility is offering a full-time Automotive Service Advisor/Writer. At our facility, we are committed to providing an exceptional consumer experience, and we know that starts with our most valuable resource—our employees. Our Service Advisor/Writers greet and consult with customers, informing them of necessary repairs, recommending products and services by emphasizing value. They field live service calls and take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the facility to leave an impressionable experience with the customer.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that each customer receives prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Supervise technicians, plan and schedule their duties, assigning work and following up on completion of the assignments.
- Maintain customer records.
- Schedule appointments, including over the phone.
- Prioritize required services and provide options upon request for customers.
- Drive the sale of technicians' time and services to meet department sales forecast.
- Exhibit a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity, and accountability.
- Ensure an ongoing clean and safe workspace by delegating tasks.

Requirements:- 1 year of automotive service advising/writing or automotive-related experience preferred.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality results.
- Ability to navigate computer programs, internet searches, and email communication.
- Assign and schedule work duties to technicians according to individual skill level.
- Able to communicate with multiple employees and prioritize customer repairs.
- Proficient time management/organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to listen to customers and determine how to assist them.
- Steady work and performance history.
- Must be able to stand for an extended number of hours.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
