Position SummaryThis management consultant would spearhead research efforts to gather information for projects and programs and propose creative solutions. Our management consultants work as part of a team and on a variety of projects. While this recruitment is specifically for management consultants with organizational change management experience, assigned projects could be for a program area including child support, child welfare or Medicaid, for example.
ResponsibilitiesDuties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Research- Gather information for a project by conducting interviews, surveys, facilitating groups, analyzing client documentation, conducting research of best practice and academic literature, and the application of other information-gathering tools.
Project Management / Project Support- Provide or support project management activities in accordance with industry-standard, client expectations, and PK’s project management methodology.
- Help your team meet project objectives, timelines, and deliverables within budget.
Analysis, Communication, and Consultation- Analyze and organize information identifying root causes of issues, opportunities for improvement, and generate ideas to improve the client's situation.
- Participate with your team to develop recommendations for actions that will improve the client’s situation.
- Communicate the results of our work (information, analysis, and recommendations) through participating in developing and delivering written reports, formal presentations, and oral discussions with your team, and clients and stakeholders.
Firm Knowledge Sharing and Growth- Freely share your knowledge, skills, and abilities with your colleagues.
- Perform firm administrative activities.
- Grow your skills and experience by participating in projects and actively pursuing continuing professional education.
- Develop an effective working relationship with clients and colleagues.
Organizational Change Management- Design, develop, and implement Organizational Change Management plans.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement through surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
- Conduct change readiness assessments, analyzing results, and making recommendations.
- Develop and implement Communications Plans, including developing a case for change, communications matrix, communication channels, and messages.
- Plan two-way engagement opportunities with staff and stakeholders regarding pending changes being implemented, including Roadshows, webinars, Town Hall meetings, and other identified meetings.
- Assess planned training for staff and stakeholders, developing opportunities for transfer of learning.
- Facilitate training and transfer of learning opportunities.
- Provide coaching for leaders regarding OCM processes.
- Embed changes into policies, procedures, infrastructure, and data collection systems.
- Analyze data and develop performance measures for evaluation of change initiatives.
Required Education And Other Credentials- Bachelor’s Degree or substitute experience required.
- Valid Driver’s License.

- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with officials at all levels in government and industry.
- Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
- Ability to work with colleagues in a virtual environment (via conference calls, web meetings, and using digital collaboration tools such as MS Teams and cloud document repository).
- Depending on work assignment(s), may be required to pass a state or federal background check, including fingerprinting.
- Must be able to address the needs of diverse customers; understand and respond in a culturally responsive way.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
Preferred Experience- Five to ten years of OCM experience at a manager level or above.
- Experience with large systems changes (must provide specific examples).
- Previous experience in Medicaid and technology systems.
- PROSCI training or certification a plus.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions- Must have the ability to travel to client sites.
- Must have the ability to work from a home-based office.
- Must have the ability to work at a computer for extensive periods of time.
- Must have the ability to speak on the telephone for extended periods of time.
- Must have the ability to read (paper or computer screen) for extended periods of time.
- Must have sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other Company equipment.
- Must have the ability to be self-driven, and work independently and as part of a team.
