To provide genetic counseling services for various genetics clinics, including but not limited to maternal-fetal medicine, oncology, neurology, cardiology, and plastic surgery. To function as a member of the healthcare team, providing invaluable services, including risk assessment, education, result interpretation, and supportive counseling for patients. To support medical geneticists, as well as various specialties across the system. To serve as a vital member of the clinical staff servicing a large population and full clinic schedule.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in Genetic Counseling and three (3) years of certified experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Currently certified as a Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC) by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC).
