Responsibilities
As a Software Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and integration of accounts payable software solutions for clients. You will be working closely with clients to understand their business requirements and configure the software to meet their needs.
What you will do:
- Conduct discovery sessions with clients to understand their business requirements, document their processes, and configure the software to meet their needs.
- Provide project management oversight, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the client’s expectations.
- Conduct software testing and work with clients to perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the software is configured correctly and working as intended.
- Create training materials and provide training to end-users on the accounts payable software.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to clients to ensure the software is working correctly and meeting their needs.
- Continuously improve the implementation process by identifying areas of improvement and developing best practices to ensure successful implementations.
Qualifications
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in implementing accounts payable software solutions.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable processes, and software systems.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to configure software systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with clients and work effectively in a team environment.
- Has billed customers for time and material.
