JELD-WEN is currently seeking an Architectural Consultant - Nashville OR Minneapolis to join our growing team.
THE ROLE
Responsible for increasing sales, profitability and market share of company products to accounts and prospects across Nashville OR Minneapolis, including managing architectural, complex and light commercial projects from concept through completion.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and achieve annual sales forecast and accurate budget proposals.
- Aggressively pursue and secure new sales opportunities.
- Use the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program to plan activities, manage accounts, manage contacts, identify and track opportunities, manage leads and communicate pertinent information.
- Provide product and solution expertise.
- Facilitate services which may include: initial consultation, performance analysis, code compliance, design assistance and implementation, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and shop drawings, specifications, product mock-ups and samples.
- Assist and coordinate site survey, field testing and on-site installation guidance.
- The employee will be required to travel in support of visiting sites and developing a customer base (50%+).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to read and understand construction documents and knowledge of installation methods, and local and national building codes.
- Must be competent in AutoCAD and Google Sketch Up.
- Accredited CDT, CCPR or established date to take exam (12 months maximum to achieve certification). Must be a graduate of or enrolled in management endorsed “green” certification course.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of five years related sales experience and/or training, preferably in the window and door industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Expected pay for this role is between $74,200.00 to $123,600.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
