Numerof is currently recruiting for our life sciences practice (pharmaceuticals, medical devices). We are looking for results-driven individuals with excellent analytical and communication skills that want to solve problems at the cutting edge of healthcare today and will thrive in a stimulating, supportive, and fast-paced environment. We’re looking for candidates with education in the biological sciences, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), strategy, policy, and financial analysis. Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is of particular interest.
As part of the consulting team, Analysts participate in all phases of project implementation: conducting interviews, researching companies or industries, gathering, analyzing and interpreting data, and contributing to project reports and presentations. They also play an important role in thought leadership and marketing efforts, often involving research and writing for publication. We work to develop the range of skills that Analysts bring to bear through extensive mentoring, training, and structured, supervised experience. Extensive exposure to Principals and more experienced staff in a team-based environment ensure continuous growth and development.
Analysts at Numerof conduct applied research, develop analytical tools and models, and conceptualize novel approaches to solving a range of healthcare industry challenges. In-depth experience in these areas, including applied statistics, is required.
Typical projects involve planning and implementation in strategy, marketing, or business development, new business model development, economic and clinical value analysis, market access, alignment of core processes, and other functionally specific challenges for life sciences manufacturers.

Position Requirements
- 2+ years applied analytic and modeling experience (ideally in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare delivery, or healthcare insurance)
- Advanced scientific degree required (PhD, PharmD, MS, MPH or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret scientific literature, clinical content
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Strong research capabilities and attention to detail
- Effectiveness as an individual contributor, leader, and team member
