Position Summary:
MarshBerry is currently seeking a Consultant, Talent Advisory for our Grand Rapids, MI office. The Consultant, Talent Advisory fulfills and manages projects related to the Talent Acquisition division. The primary duties include sourcing and screening candidates, providing feedback, recommendations, and reports on potential candidates, consulting on projects, developing workforce planning related material, and actively building content for MarshBerry Talent Advisory workshops.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to source quality candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches, and research. Interview high-quality candidates identifying proper cultural, character, and competency fit for clients' needs.
- Proactively conduct searches and identify new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies.
- Partner with Vice President, Talent Advisory to generate leads, leverage resources, and share information.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates during the recruiting process.
- Add new candidates to the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) on a daily basis and update the Vice President, Talent Advisory on the status of candidate searches.
- Provide strategic guidance and consultation on people and talent matters to C-level executives, helping them navigate complex organizational challenges and drive business success.
- Track progress on current projects daily and send out weekly reports to clients.
- Track recruitment numbers weekly.
- Responsible for learning and understanding various people analytic assessments and articulating the data findings to clients.
- Will attend Talent Institute or other MarshBerry workshop or seminars to engage with clients or prospective clients on Talent Advisory related subjects, topics, projects, or otherwise.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Selection Criteria
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Professional certifications are a plus.
- 3 years+ of recruiting or sales experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in recruiting tools such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated creativity with regard to work. Excellent spelling, grammar, phone, and interviewing skills.
- Analytical, proactive problem-solving skills, able to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated industry business acumen and ability to grasp new business concepts and issues.
- Accountability: Ability to accept responsibility and be accountable for actions and conduct, maintains confidentiality.
- Team oriented: Positive and professional, able to show consideration for and maintain good working relations with co-workers. Remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits a willingness to try new things.
