Job Description
WellSky is seeking a Technical Consultant II to join our team. As a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that enable seamless interaction between multiple software applications through unified interfaces or dashboards. This involves establishing connections, protocols, and standards that allow disparate software applications to exchange data, share resources, or collaborate effectively.
A day in the life!
You will be responsible for the following:
Collaborate project managers, project teams, and client personnel to complete implementation tasks through the lifecycle of the project
Gather comprehensive information about existing software systems, interfaces, and data sources.
Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather detailed insights into the current system landscape.
Identify and document constraints, limitations, and dependencies that may impact integration efforts. Thoroughly understand technical challenges and opportunities and create a workflow
Complete interface components and integration solutions for routine projects using expanded knowledge of programming languages.
Independently troubleshoot technical issues encountered in integration and interfacing projects identifying root causes.
Expand training scope to include advanced topics such as network configuration, server maintenance, and cybersecurity protocols, while introducing ITIL practices and compliance requirements relevant to the organization's industry
Regularly meet with clients to discuss the status of deliverables, challenges and changes. Instill trust in WellSky's capabilities and ensure client's comprehend any complexities.
Do you have what it takes?
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
2-4 years related work experience
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Previous database management experience
Proficient with SQL
Knowledge of general networking concepts and terminology
Familiar with web development tools, including API

Experience working with development languages (Java and C)
