What You Will Do:Guidehouse is looking for candidates to provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as management consultants. There are openings for both Consultant and Senior Consultant positions. Senior Consultants are experienced consultants who will manage clients, implement solutions, and deliver project results. Consultants will support project workstreams and interact with clients to ensure successful engagements.
- Collaborate with FAA clients and Guidehouse colleagues to solve problems and improve outcomes
- Support FAA programs and processes to achieve agency mission objectives and business plan goals
- Engage with project stakeholders to identify and implement organizational, program, and business process improvements using change management practices
- Produce work products that clearly present recommendations for clients to consider
- Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff
What You Will Need:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Previous experience with the FAA or a related organization/agency
- Ability to thrive in client service and team-based environments, especially when dealing with unstructured problems
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and ability to prioritize multiple activities
- Proficiency with Excel, databases, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to meet and fulfill requirements for a Public Trust
- Due to contract requirements, US citizenship is required
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of hire
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Familiarity with federal real property assets, systems, and challenges
- Familiarity with strategic asset management planning, asset management systems, facility condition assessments and indices, and capital planning principles
- Experience with International Standards Organization (ISO) 55000 standards for asset management (ISO certification desired)
- Strong experience utilizing and applying best practices, gleaned from experience and consultation with individuals of expertise, on projects, appropriately tailoring for client and culture
- Experience working with or knowledge of the FAA Air Traffic Organization (ATO) and Technical Operations (AJW)
