POSITION SUMMARY: Plan and implement home-based learning experiences that ensure effective implementation of the home visiting curriculum and promote children’s progress across the standards described in the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework: Ages Birth to Five, including for children with disabilities and dual language learners, as appropriate, and Head Start Parent, Family, and Community Engagement Framework to build respectful, culturally responsive, and trusting relationships with families. Provide assistance and support to the families to ensure all state and federal standards are met. Attain knowledge of resources available in the community, and build and strengthen partnerships within community entities.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete 1-½ hour weekly home visits (in the home unless safety issue), track and meet the required number of visits in accordance with the program option.
- Work with families to identify and set goals. Monitor progress and follow up on all referrals throughout the length of the program.
- Obtain and document In-kind.
- Work cooperatively with other employees, clients, and community members.
- Ensure recruitment efforts are completed and documented and a waiting list is maintained throughout the year.
- Promote school readiness for children, families, and community members.
- Participate in all required meetings and trainings.
- Adhere to all CNCAP policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- AA or BA in Early Childhood or related field
- Valid driver's license
- Prefer experience with infants and toddlers

- Knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with others
SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday: 7am - 5pm or Monday-Friday: 8am - 4pm
REPORTS TO: Area Manager/Education Coordinator
JOB STATUS: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
PAY: $19.53 - $21.64/hour (depending on qualifications)
