SUMMARY: Tallo is seeking a dynamic Early Talent Development Consultant to build a strategic function that guides organizations to build new on-ramps to in-demand opportunities. This role involves collaborating with employers and advising them on innovative methods to connect with, onboard, and nurture young talent, ensuring alignment with their immediate and future needs. This role will be responsible for building and scaling Early Talent programs such as job shadowing, internships, and apprenticeships with our client partners to attract and assess potential young talent. This role will also support employers in implementing solutions that widen their candidate pool, including skills-based hiring.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Build a strategy to test and learn how Tallo can be a partner for employers in creating new opportunities for early talent to reach career success.
- Perform market scans to understand in-demand roles, activities, and potential partners to develop holistic strategy.
- Propose and build proofs of concept. Set target metrics, analyze performance, and determine next steps to scale programs.
- Pitch and negotiate partnership agreements that advance organizational goals on both sides.
- Partner with organizations to forecast their future organizational needs, then invest in early career program to help them build the internal talent pipeline.
- Quickly build a depth of understanding of our partner's organization and talent needs to build an Early Talent program that suits their unique organization.
- Develop onboarding programs that enable new hires to effectively demonstrate and leverage their skills from the outset.
- Champion the adoption of experiential learning methods such as job shadowing and apprenticeships to attract and assess potential young talent.
- Develop mentorship programs that foster skill development and workplace integration for new hires.
- Create strategies for effective talent development that leverage real-world experience alongside formal training.
- Advocate and facilitate skills-based hiring practices among employer partners to match the right talent with the right opportunities.
- Formulate and implement talent retention strategies that emphasize ongoing skill development and workplace inclusion.
- Engage with learning institutions to create a pipeline of candidates whose skills align with current and future industry needs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities. This is an individual contributor role that will have significant stakeholder collaboration.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years of related experience
- A strong alignment with Tallo's Values, mission, and vision
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience developing programs from zero to one and recommending pathways to scale.
- Proficient in the design and implementation of experiential and skills-based learning programs.
- Effective communication skills for facilitating partnerships and driving change
- Practical knowledge of program development focused on early talent development, including apprenticeships and internships
- Experience in guiding organizations on early talent development, upskilling, and/or professional development initiatives
- Ability to articulate strategies and concepts effectively to various audiences.
- Competence in project management and collaborative leadership.
- Program Management Experience
- Ability to clear required background check

- Familiarity with current trends and digital tools in talent development and acquisition
- Experience in educational program coordination or career services that align with industry requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to consult and implement modern talent development practices within diverse organizational settings.
- Track record of creating and nurturing partnerships that advance skill-centric learning and growth opportunities.
- Consideration given for combination of education and experience

- This is a remote, home-based position with occasional travel for partner meetings and industry events.
Compensation & Benefits:
Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
- We anticipate the salary range to be $122,073.75 to 195,318.00. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
