Reason for need:
- SAM upgrade from 9.1 to 9.2. AML. They have SAM installed and working. They are doing this in-house. Actimize came in and did the implementation and then walked away taking that knowledge with them. Need a SAM SME/Implementation Consultant to come in and run this and lead the team.
- There’s also an Act One upgrade right now going on in-house as well.
- There’s also 4 years worth of backlog.
Location: 100% remote. Travel 3-4 days in a quarter is required for PI sessions. Would love this person to be in Buffalo onsite 2 days a week, but not required.
Must have Skills:
- Lead level SAM experience (9.1 and they are moving to 9.2) no preference on version
- Hands-on design, development and implementation experience on SAM
- Configuration on the UI.
- Database – Oracle experience in case they need tuning experience
- Not a DBA but should know how to write queries
- Agile experience – not worried about tools
- Soft skills:
- Vocal. Drive conversations and stick to the agenda. Look at deliverables.
- Focused on execution. They do not want someone who will get a committee to talk about the next steps. Someone who stays focused on what is in front of them. Look at what is urgent and what is not. Someone who can run stuff and say this is not something we need to talk about right now.
Top 3-5 Responsibilities:
- Lead the SAM upgrade to completion including hands-on development and configurations
- Run and lead the team of 6-8 developers including coaching and providing Actimize and SAM best practices
- Documentation of stories and backlog. Backlog prioritization
- Provide technology leaders including Solutions Architect on updates throughout engagement
- PI planning
