Lean Six Sigma Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Lean Six Sigma Expert with a background in supporting complex federal programs. As a Lean Six Sigma Consultant, you will play a key role in streamlining program processes through the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Working collaboratively with the Cost Efficiency Analyst, you will identify and implement cost-saving measures. Your primary responsibilities include leading projects to enhance operational efficiency, stakeholder experience, and data quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lean Six Sigma Application:
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to analyze and optimize NAEP processes, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction.
- Cost-saving Measures:
- Collaborate with the Cost Efficiency Analyst to identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and implement strategies to achieve financial efficiencies.
- Project Leadership:
- Lead projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, stakeholder experience, and data quality within the NAEP program.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in applying Lean Six Sigma principles in large-scale federal projects or programs.
- Highly desired, experience in the education sector and government contracts.
- Proficiency in applying Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to address complex operational challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Commitment to achieving measurable improvements in efficiency and quality.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Public Trust clearance at this location.
