We have a variety of clients and a few internal projects you'll work on. We won't just take any job that comes our way; we work with people we like on projects we want to work on.
About the role
In this position, you'll be responsible for driving KPI growth for our clients and our own internal projects using a variety of tactics.
You’ll come to understand the strategies, tactics, and platforms you work on at a level of depth you probably won’t find in most other roles, and you’ll learn to answer complex questions by experimentation.
Things you’ll work on:
- Paid search (PPC)
- Paid social advertising (Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- SEO
- Conversion rate optimization
- Reporting & analytics (Google Analytics, Data Studio/Looker, BigQuery, SQL, Tableau)
- Website planning and optimization
- Content strategy
- Competitive analysis
- Run a test using Facebook and Unbounce to figure out the ideal positioning and target audience for a new product
- Create and test an email drip campaign in Klaviyo
- Split test a Facebook funnel
- Report on paid media performance using Google Data Studio or Tableau
- Guide clients on executing an SEO content strategy
You won’t be siloed on this team. We believe the fundamentals of marketing are transferable to any medium and that once you understand those principles, it’s not a big leap to apply them to any channel.
Because of that, you won’t be confined to one sub-specialty. We build businesses; marketing is just the tool we use to do it, which means you’ll get to see and participate in, firsthand, the building of our clients’ businesses from strategy to execution and everything in between.
Our goal is growth, and we follow whatever path necessary to achieve it.
This role is for someone who wants to understand business-building using the tool of marketing. It’s not a great fit for someone who wants to stay focused on one marketing specialty.
It’s a fast-paced and varied role in which you’ll have the opportunity to significantly influence the direction of both our clients’ businesses and our own internal projects.
About you
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial-minded and willing and able to execute on creative solutions that solve real business problems. If you feel stifled in your current marketing role by bureaucracy or outdated methods, or you feel like you’re siloed into one sub-specialty and you want to learn more, this might be the position for you.
Those who excel on our team tend to be detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and great communicators.
This is a remote position. We have daily team check-ins and regular company events, but being able to stay focused and motivated while working mostly from home is crucial.
Experience
- 2+ years experience in organic search, paid search, social advertising, or SEO
- Knowledge of Google analytics and ability to pull insights and make decisions from data
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to manage your own time without supervision and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate project status and recommendations with stakeholders clearly and concisely
- Ability and interest in driving your own learning and figuring out solutions to complex problems
- Be comfortable working directly with clients
- Proactive, self-starter
- Autonomously deploy executional skills, applying strategic thinking to coach and train new associates
- Experience with ad platforms & Google Analytics
- Very proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
