As a member of the North American Human Resources team, the incumbent provides support to the Orangeburg based operations as well as assigned division or group wide projects within North America. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will direct the planning and implementation of policies, practices, and initiatives related to Talent Management, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Training & Development, Employee Engagement and Recruitment for the assigned client groups. The HRBP responsibilities include assisting in supporting the long term strategy while tactically supporting the business leaders and employees.
What You Need to Know:
- Understand business priorities, context, issues and challenges to recommend and implement real business solutions to drive performance and achieve results.
- Partner with the management team to understand key performance issues, objectives and drivers and their implications for people and organizational strategies.
- Lead the understanding, acceptance, and compliance with Talent Management protocols. Work with assigned client groups on the annual Talent Planning process to include succession planning, employee development and potential rating.
- Lead and champion the annual Performance Management & Review Process - full cycle for areas of responsibility.
- Lead and champion the annual Global Team Survey Process and follow up with Management and Teams in area of responsibility.
- Support the recruiting, selection, retention and development of the right talent and capabilities. Support delivery of the people strategy within the business and drive business results through the identification and development of targeted HR interventions to deliver performance.
- Institute and facilitate record keeping and performance practices that meet employment-law and regulatory standards. Ensure that such records are secure, complete, timely, and appropriately accessible.
- Coach managers on engaging employees and building capabilities effectively.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience with minimum 2 years as HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role (Concurrent).
- Professional HR certification(s) (Desired).
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of core areas of Human Resources (i.e., talent management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, leadership development, etc.).
