Human Resources Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for our First Quality Print & Packaging business located in Anderson, SC.
The position will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, implementing and developing policies and programs, communications, and building and maintaining an open and trusting relationship with team members to promote optimal business performance.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Responsible and accountable for all Human Resources functions, including, but not limited to staffing, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and leadership support and development.
- Partner with the leadership team in developing and tracking execution of a strategic HR plan, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Translate the organization’s needs into HR strategic and operational plans establishing key metrics and performance tracking processes.
- Oversee workforce planning and talent management processes to identify and address competency, knowledge and talent gaps. Areas of emphasis include staffing, talent development and succession planning programs to ensure the organization is prepared to meet short- and long-term goals.
- Develop and execute in partnership with team members actions to maintain and improve employee engagement.
- Provide coaching and guidance regarding employee management and individual development plans.
- Continually assess the relevance of HR programs and practices and to streamline operations.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Provide consultation to managers with respect to performance management, employee development, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Ensuring and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations and employment practices.
- Assisting in the interpretation of company policies and procedures. Proactively ensuring that company policies are administered in a fair and equitable manner.
- Partnering with operations and training management, developing, administering and conducting training and development programs.
- Monitoring the salary administration and performance appraisal process, ensuring timely adherence and review for appropriateness and completeness.
- Partnering with leadership to design and implement effective communications and recognition programs.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration.
- Master’s Degree in HR, OD, or other related degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. High Performance Work Teams experience a plus.
- SPHR certification preferred, but not required.
- Must possess maturity, strong business ethics, professionalism, leadership skills, communication skills, and the ability to work in a cross functional team environment.
