AI & Data practitioners work with our clients to:
- Design and modernize large scale data and analytics programs that promote organizational intelligence, provide embedded capacity, and implement as-a-service based subscription models at scale.
- Enable day-to-day operations, maintenance and ongoing enhancements of their data platforms and applications as well as managing and governing the underlying data leveraging standardized, automated and AI enabled Data Ops capabilities.
- Mature their AI and Analytics journey with fluid capacity and flexible capability of AI and Analytics experts complemented with experience hardened assets and curated data sets to experiment with AI and scale their AI and Analytics ambitions.
Work You’ll Do
Collaborating amongst team members across several geographies, our Cloud practitioners engineer cloud-based analytics solutions on AWS, Azure, Databricks, GCP, Snowflake, Oracle, Informatica Cloud and a combination of native cloud technologies, including computing at edge and curating data-in-motion.
As a Senior Consultant in our AI & Data team, you will bring strong technical, functional and project management solutions to clients with a focus on achieving a high level of performance and quality through delivery of both agile and traditional projects to provide exceptional business value to users.
Working within an engagement team, your responsibilities include, among others:
- Managing day-to-day interactions with executive clients, stakeholders, and sponsors.
- Managing and delivering components of client engagements focused on identifying, designing, and implementing both technology and creative business solutions for large companies.
- Managing small teams to identify business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.
- Creation and development of project scope and schedule. Plan and assign resources to associated tasks and deliverables.
- Monitoring progress of the project, identify, and quantify variances, perform required corrective actions.
- Managing changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs to keep the project plan accurate, updated, as defined in the change management plan.
- Identifying high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints. Implement approved actions and workarounds to minimize the impact of risks on the project.
- Developing and maintaining communication with key project stakeholders and decision makers.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience with ability to contribute to an end-to-end Architecture and Solution.
- 2+ years experience implementing data solutions on the Databricks Data Intelligence platform, to include Delta Lakes.
- 3+ years experience with SQL and Python.
- 2+ years experience leading workstreams or small teams, within complex technology engagements with resources in multiple locations.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Experience with Cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with PySpark, Scala and Java highly preferred.
- Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog.
- Databricks Certifications (ie: Data Engineer Associate; Data Engineer Professional, Machine Learning Associate, Machine Learning Professional).
- Understanding of emerging technologies (such as GenAI) and advanced data architectures (ie: Multimodal data management & model design, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Products, etc.).
- Experience with Databricks.
- Experience working with multi-Terabyte data sets.
- Experience with real-time data movement solutions that use security and encryption protocols while data is in transit.
- Experience collaborating among team members across several geographies.
- An advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferred.
