Global Strategic Reinsurance Consultant!
Aon Reinsurance is looking for a strategic consultant to support its Client Segment Strategy & Execution. This individual will work closely with a core Aon team based in the US and UK, along with a broader set of colleagues globally to build and collect data from multiple account teams and systems and produce benchmarking analyses and key insights to support sales/broker teams in connection with Aon Re's largest clients.
Location: Hybrid- US, ideally based in Boston or New York, but with some flexibility on location.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of (re)insurance experience.
How this opportunity is different:
As part of the Strategic & Execution function's core data team, the Strategic Consultant will focus on client-related data to support development and execution of Growth strategies. Select areas of focus, but not limited to, will be:
- Building data requests/questionnaires for Aon teams
- Collect and verify data through communication with team members and through cross-system validation
- Collate and analyze large data sets to build client benchmarking insights around underlying insurance business, reinsurance purchasing, corporate strategies and market themes, collaborating with other Aon teams as necessary
- Evaluate current and optimal data collection and evaluation processes and systems to continually refine and improve segmentation strategy to drive growth
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
Qualifications: The ideal candidate is well-organized, attentive to detail, inquisitive, reliable and team-focused with strong data and communication skills. Strong Excel and data organization skills are required, with the ability to evaluate and build quantitative and qualitative insights from raw data to support broker/sales teams with client segmentation and benchmarking.
- Strongly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
- 3+ years of (re)insurance experience; ideally within data sciences
- Experience with generating client-facing insights from data
- Proven experience and ability to work well in team environment.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
