What we’re looking for:
Iodine is quickly growing and is on the verge of taking over the industry. We are looking for an HR Business Partner to help support our growing employee base. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to management and employees, facilitating the implementation of HR initiatives and programs that align with business goals. The HRBP will provide expert guidance on HR-related issues, enhance workforce performance, and support employee and organizational development.
What You’ll Do:
- As a collaborator, learn the business strategies and be a connector amongst leaders and the People Operations team to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Coach and guide managers on HR best practices and effective people management strategies; help them solve problems and enhance the employee experience.
- Deliver sound performance management and succession planning processes to ensure a high-performing workforce.
- Champion employee relations through addressing employee concerns and conflicts, promoting a positive work environment and fostering employee engagement.
- Support organizational change initiatives by guiding teams through transitions and minimizing disruption. Partner with leaders on organization design and communications.
- Partnering with the Director, HRBP, identify training needs and build learning and development programs that enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to provide insights and recommendations for improving workforce performance and culture.
- Create employee engagement plans, including pulse surveys, and help leaders put results into action.
- Partner with the talent acquisition team to assist in the recruitment processes, including helping managers identify their hiring needs and be a guide on making sound hiring decisions.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field required
- 5+ years of HR generalist experience for a technology company (Healthcare preferred), startup experience is a plus
- Seasoned experience building and facilitating learning & development programs
- Advanced computer skills, including communication tools, performance management tools and HRIS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail and analytically driven
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with facilitating successful full-cycle employee engagement surveys
- Proficiency in tools such as Lattice and Google Suite.
- Proven ability to build trust and foster strong relationships with employees and managers.
- Client service mentality with desire to personally influence client satisfaction in every interaction
- Strong reporting skills / excel proficiency and presentation skills
- Successful track record of managing multiple, competing priorities while consistently exceeding goals
- Team player DNA
- Project management skills
- Positive, self-starter attitude with high level of personal ownership
- Additional HR training will be a plus
- Reside in Central or Eastern Standard Time Zone is preferred
