Title: Marketing Consultant - Sponsorship Event Manager
Job Type: Fulltime/Contract on W2
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12+ Months
As a Sponsorship Event Manager, you will:
- Create and deliver hospitality and brand activation programs that support the client's sponsorship strategy, drive business outcomes, and maximize customer impact.
- Manage the full event lifecycle for sponsored events, conferences, and activations. This includes program development, event registration, ticketing, communications, food & beverage coordination, transportation, gifting, and staffing.
- Define and manage execution plans and timelines to ensure the on-time delivery of all event components.
- Ensure compliance with all governance and regulatory requirements for sponsorship hospitality assets.
- Manage ticket availability and allocations across business units for events.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Public Affairs, Line of Business, Meetings & Events) and external stakeholders to effectively manage events.
- Build and maintain relationships with sponsored properties, vendors, and other external partners.
- Oversee event budgets and manage expenditures.
- Develop presentations and supporting documents for leadership, independently or in collaboration with team members.
- Evaluate the success of events in achieving business and brand objectives, gather feedback, and report on performance.
An ideal candidate should have:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction across multiple stakeholder groups in a complex organization.
- Problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and implementing solutions.
- Proven experience in managing sponsorship events, conferences, and activations from start to finish.
- Superior attention to detail combined with strong project management and execution skills.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $33- $36 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
