RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a dynamic team with an engaging office environment to match the energy! As a Sales Development Consultant, you represent EMG to candidates seeking employment as Outside Sales Representatives and hire for our various offices across the country. The team thrives on each other's success and celebrates each other's WINS through various incentives, in-office competitions, and bonuses!
- Develop a list of prospects from applicants that have expressed interest and make contact
- Solicit and hire prospects via phone and schedule new hires for training in a local office
- Discuss the specifics of the employment opportunity to persuade a candidate to commit to training
- Move prospects to a hiring decision and schedule training
- Communicate with local offices concerning upcoming training candidates
- Enter names, contact information, and status of all prospects into the recruiting tracking system
- Forward new hire contact information as well as training date/times to the local office
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and Experience: HS/GED AND 1 year of telemarketing, outbound calling, or inside sales experience
- Experience meeting and exceeding quotas
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly master enterprise-specific software
- Must be 18 years of age or older
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Desired but not required)
- Strong phone skills and ability to maintain a high average number of dials per day
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
- Friendly, outgoing, detail-oriented
- Self-starter that thrives in a competitive, high-energy environment
