Position Overview:
The Director of Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be a strategic leader responsible for aligning HR practices with business objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and driving talent management strategies across our manufacturing and corporate sites. This role will partner closely with senior leadership and operational managers to enhance organizational effectiveness, drive employee engagement, support the creation of standardized processes, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly manage the HR Field team, providing leadership and mentorship to the plant HR Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on organizational design, talent management, and change management initiatives.
- Lead workforce planning efforts to ensure the right talent is in place to meet production and operational demands.
- Act as a trusted advisor in resolving complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
- Promote a positive work culture through proactive communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Drive performance management processes to enhance employee productivity and development.
- Support managers in setting performance goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with best practices and industry standards.
- Provide data-driven leadership that supports the organization with actionable insights to enable data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree, MBA or other graduate level education in related field.
- Bi-lingual (English – Spanish, or English – Japanese).
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex HR issues and driving strategic HR initiatives.
