Position: Design Studio Consultant
Bay to Beach Builders is seeking a fun, engaging, and detail-oriented Design Studio Consultant at our Greenwood, Delaware Idea Home & Design Studio. Guide Bay to Beach Builders customers through the design selection process and exceed customer expectations by being professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Our Design Studio is the one-stop resource for our home buyers to select distinctive styles and finishes that meet their lifestyles.
Responsibilities
- Assist and guide customers through the exterior and interior design selection process for their new home.
- Collaborate with New Home Sales Specialists, Operations, Purchasing/Estimating, Drafting/Design, and Production to meet deadlines and satisfy customer needs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in all computer systems.
- Meet with vendors for on-site product training on new and current products.
- Have a strong understanding of all products and building methods along with keeping up with current industry trends.
- Learn the Bay to Beach Builders process and building techniques.
- Assist with all other tasks and projects as directed by the Director of Sales.
- Ensure Design Studio is clean, organized, and customer-ready.
Qualifications
- One-on-one work experience with buyers in a structured setting.
- Experience working with a new home builder and/or previous design experience working directly with customers in a high-end retail environment.
- 3-5 years of Interior Design experience.
- Basic understanding of building materials.
- Must have excellent color sense and the ability to read blueprints.
- Friendly/outgoing professional personality who will strive to deliver excellent customer service.
- Highly detailed with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills including all MS Office Suite including using a CRM system.
- Time management skills and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Superb listening skills and follow-up practices.
Salary & Benefits
- Full time
- Salary $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
