Armanino LLP’s Valuation Advisory Services (“VAS”) Practice assists start-ups, private and public companies, estates, attorneys, as well as venture capital and private equity firms with business valuation, tangible asset, and custom financial modeling services.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in business valuations for a wide range of industries for the purposes of financial reporting (including ASC 718 equity as compensation valuations, ASC 805 business combination, and ASC 350 goodwill impairment analysis), stock option pricing (IRC Section 409A), merger and acquisition, and estate and gift tax.
- Primarily responsible for initial valuation model set up, analyzing historical financial statements and projected financial information; organizing data; pulling industry, economic, and company research; report writing, and other project tasks as assigned.
- Develop and utilize financial models (such as the Discounted Cash Flow, Market Approach, Option Pricing Method, and Black Scholes model) to arrive at value indications.
- Identify, assess, and analyze comparable public/private companies and transactions to derive valuation multiples.
- Compose narrative reports in support of valuation analyses.
- Self review work performed to ensure high quality deliverables.
- Research and analyze market conditions and trends to support valuation opinions.
- Participate in meetings with clients.
- Participate in the performance of SAS 73 reviews of valuations done by other valuation firms for audit assist purposes.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year progressively responsible business valuation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- ASA, CVA, and/or ABV designations, or progress towards these.
- CPA and/or CFA, a plus.
- Excellent communications skills; professional presentation skills; self-starter, cooperative attitude; team player; detail oriented.
- Must be willing to travel from time to time as needed.

The compensation range for this position: $72,450 - $113,400. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
