Position Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Associate manages full life cycle recruitment for designated specialties recruitment within the Tidelands Health system. The HRBP Associate will help to ensure the success of the organization by offering guidance and support on recruitment, employee relations, talent planning, recruiting, and HR best practices while facilitating positive relationships while collaborating with other members of the HR team across functional areas.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Source and screen candidates to ensure TH has the appropriate workforce needed for current growth initiatives and to minimize turnover impact, including identifying new resources to attract passive candidates.
- Manage candidate activity in applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure position requests and postings are completed in a timely manner.
- Evaluate assessment, criminal background, licensure, education, and employment reference information to ensure all requirements are met and the best qualified candidates are extended offers of employment for TH employees and contingent workers.
- Develop accurate and appropriate offers of employment including base compensation, relocation, sign-on bonus, etc.
- Develop relationships with internal and external customers and foster these relationships long-term while working to further engage staff.
- Train leaders on the ATS, interviewing, and onboarding techniques.
- Provide strategic and tactical support to assigned service areas, serving as a resource for employee relations, HR policy interpretation, performance management, and talent planning and retention in accordance with organizational policies, practices and values, assuring fair and consistent application.
- Represent Tidelands Health at career fairs and outreach events and coordinate recruitment events as assigned.
- Stay abreast of changes in federal and state employment laws, as well as maintain knowledge/skills for recruiting across a diverse organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of directly related recruitment and/or human resources experience.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, required.
- Certification in Healthcare Recruiting, preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentations.
- Strong interpersonal relationship building.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the goals of the organization.
- Exceptional detail and follow-through skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including: Word and Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to be resourceful and maintain flexibility.
- Ability to use various types of data to guide in decision-making.
- Ability to work with diverse teams.
- Ability to assist in resolving conflicts and diffuse stressful situations.
- Ability to maintain objectivity and remain calm in complex situations.
Physical Requirements:
Light-Medium Physical Agility Test (PAT) Rating. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) required to stand, sit, and walk; frequently to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert 15 to 20 pounds of force occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or 5 to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 5 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
