POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior HR Business Partner is a strategic and influential associate working to establish and maintain alignment between the operations of the business and HR policies, practices, and objectives. A strong understanding of the role of HR functional and business support is critical. This role involves providing dynamic HR solutions using experience, data analyses, and organizational agility to guide decision making. The Senior HR Business Partner provides consulting and coaching guidance to assigned departments within the organization in support of the company’s mission, vision, values, and overall objectives. The successful individual in this role will be service-oriented and proactive on all projects, assignments, and in all interactions with clients.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations that support recommendations for corrective actions.
- Proactively partner with assigned businesses and provide creative and strategic HR support aimed at problem solving and facilitating business objectives.
- Understand the full employee lifecycle and apply that understanding to craft integrated solutions that are well thought out.
- Solutions-focused and comfortable working in an environment requiring strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
- Operate with autonomy and discretion, make accurate assessments, arrive at a decision, and make recommendations with consideration for the HR business model that is in place.
- Agility to manage between implementing HR functional initiatives within the business and successfully monitoring the "pulse" of employees while ensuring, and promoting, a high level of employee engagement.
- Support content development and deliver training in conjunction with the Learning and Development team.
- Effectively communicate (orally and in writing) with clients.
