Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Engineer specializing in Network, Routing and Switching (R&S), Wireless technologies. As a Solution Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise, engaging with clients, and designing solutions tailored to their network infrastructure and security needs.

Desired skills and requirements

Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional level certifications (e.g. CCNP, CWNP, CISSP) are advantageous.
Proven experience as a Solution Engineer or Solutions Engineer in the networking industry.
Technology specialization and expertise in a few of the following – R&S, WLAN, Email security, Application security.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to evolving client requirements.
Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product management.

Added Value:

A good understanding and hands on experience in NAC, SD-WAN, WAF, SWG, DC architecture excellence will be an added value.

About the Role

1. Technical Consultation:

Engage with prospective clients to understand their network infrastructure requirements, challenges, and security concerns.
Serve as a technical advisor, offering insights and recommendations on network design, R&S strategies, wireless deployments.

2. Solution Design:

Design customized network solutions incorporating R&S, wireless technologies, and NAC security measures to address client-specific requirements.
Develop detailed network architecture diagrams and solution proposals outlining the technical specifications and benefits of the proposed solutions.

3. Product Demonstrations:

Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions to showcase the capabilities and features of network, R&S, and wireless solutions.
Assist clients in understanding the practical applications and benefits of implementing these technologies in their environments.

4. Technical Presentations:

Deliver technical presentations and whiteboard sessions to clients, illustrating the design and implementation of network, R&S and wireless solutions.
Clearly communicate complex technical concepts in a manner that is accessible to non-technical stakeholders.

5. Competitive Analysis:

Stay abreast of the competitive landscape within the networking, R&S and wireless.

Added value - Stay abreast of the competitive landscape of NAC SD-WAN, WAF, SWG, Email security markets.

Provide insights and comparisons to highlight the advantages of our solutions over competitors' offerings.

6. Collaboration with Sales:

Work closely with the sales team to develop customized sales strategies and proposals aligned with client needs.
Assist in the preparation of RFP responses, quotes, and pricing models for prospective clients.

7. Product and Industry Knowledge:

Maintain a deep understanding of networking technologies, routing and switching protocols, wireless standards.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network design and security.

8. Documentation and Reporting:

Create and maintain technical documentation related to client engagements, solution designs, configurations, and POC outcomes.
Generate regular reports on pre-sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions.
