Corporate Human Resources Business Partner needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Audubon, Pennsylvania.

Salary: 95K – 140K (Depends on experience level)
Reports to: Senior Director, Total Rewards
Industry experience:
- Energy Industry preferred, will consider Pharmaceutical or Financial Industry.
- Will only consider candidates with corporate HRBP experience.
- Ideally must come from a larger corporate background.
Position Overview:- Not a typical HRBP role; this is not a transactional role.
- This is not an HR generalist role, or a recruiting position.
- VP level or management is not a fit for this role.
- Supporting between 300-400 employees.
- Looking for someone that is dealing with strategy.
- Needs to be strategic and have Organizational development experience.
- Strong experience within leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.
- The (Sr.) HR Business Partner will provide daily general HR support to defined client groups to become strategic business partners. BP support will include coaching, employee relations, performance management, recruiting/staffing, organizational effectiveness and development, and first-line support for compensation and benefits (Total Rewards) questions.
- (Sr.) HR Business Partner will be the single point of contact for client groups and will partner with the People Services Center and the Total Rewards Center to deliver customer-focused proactive solutions and problem-solving.
Essential Functions:- To act as HR single point of contact and strategic business partner for client groups.
- Consults with management on business and performance needs.
- Partners with People Services Center and Total Rewards Center on an as-needed basis to perform human resources functions for the defined client group.
- Serves as an advocate for the employee, management, and the Company by being available to meet with employees to address concerns, explain HR policies/practices, and mediate differences between employees, leads, and managers.
- Provides advice and counsel in the use of corrective actions to address job performance and other behavioral issues.
- Ability to effectively interface with external and internal legal entities to resolve employee disputes and concerns.
- Provides counsel and fosters a partnership with hiring managers to secure the best talent for the company.
- Partners with training resources to ensure appropriate employee and leadership development/succession planning.
- Makes decisions and takes actions to recommend changes to HR practices and policies.
- Monitors trends in employee relations, learning, and recruiting.
- Participates in developing processes for assessing organizational strengths and susceptibilities and for recommending organizational solutions.
- Partners in the development of leaders/teams through organization-wide change interventions.
- Partners with management to identify performance needs and design interventions to close gaps.
- Partners with Total Rewards Center to implement and execute compensation and benefit strategies.
- Provides counseling and coaching to all levels of the organization to ensure Diversity and Work/Life initiatives are effectively integrated with strategic business objectives.
- Responsible for assigned department and company-wide projects.
- Serves in a lead role in executing organization-wide initiatives.
- Serves in a project management role capacity for employee survey, intern program, and other key initiatives.
Interview process:- First round will be 30 min – informal, discussion of experience etc.
- Second round – Behavior-based interview.
Required Education / Experience:- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a true HRBP, in at least 2 areas: leadership development, human resources, internal consulting, employee relations.
- 4-year Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Related Field.
- Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail.
- Ability to visualize and solve complex problems.
- Experience in competency-based assessment and selection.
- Experience in supporting diverse business lines.
- Some experience with Workday is ideal or HRIS.
- Experience working in a fast-paced HR environment as a strategic Business Partner.
- Experience with one or more of the following specialties: organization development, change management, management coaching, communication, and/or manager/supervisor/employee development programs, employee relations, and recruiting.
