Sales Consultant – Walker First Turn

Walker is now expanding to Scott, Louisiana in Lafayette Parish with its acquisition of First Turn. For forty-one years, Bill and Loretta Young have served the Acadiana area providing unmatched sales and service to the residents of the area. Walker First Turn will continue their tradition of family-friendly sales and service for established brands such as Kawasaki, Suzuki, Roxor, Snapper, and Big Dog Mowers. We have a great selection of ATVs, RTVs, motorcycles, and residential and commercial mowers for all your powersports and agricultural needs.

Walker First Turn is looking for passionate and self-motivated Sales Consultants to lead and direct our newest dealership.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and have a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Present and sell ATVs, RTVs, motorcycles, mowers, and all other equipment to new and existing customers.
- Prospect and contact potential customers through phone calls, texts, emails, and social media.
- Log all customer data into Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
- Be a leader in product knowledge of all agricultural and powersports products and vehicles.
- Help guide customers through the decision-making process.
- Meet monthly sales objectives set in place by management.
- Follow all policies and procedures given by management.
Qualifications
- Past sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of agricultural and powersports equipment is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to work independently with a high sense of urgency while also being a team player.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean MVR.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time on the phone/computer.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions, rain, snow, heat (during sales or showings).
- Must be able to lift up to 15-20 lbs. at a time.
Job Type – Full Time with Competitive Pay
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5:30 pm, Saturdays - 8 am - 2:30 pm
