Senior Consultant – Settlement Funds
The Senior Consultant – Settlement Funds position performs various assigned tasks related to client engagements. The position may supervise the work of consulting interns as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or an approved related field is required.
- Relevant professional certifications are preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience is required.
- Prior project management experience is a plus.
- Experience in a consulting services firm is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Professionally and appropriately communicate with a diverse group of individuals.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and proactive nature.
- Exhibits a high degree of professionalism and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Able to work in a highly organized manner within a fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
- Computer proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, SharePoint).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with engagement leaders to ensure that the scope of work is completed to the satisfaction of the client and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that quality, financial, risk management, business and policy expectations are met.
- Communicates and works with the client on a variety of issues potentially including progress and status, scope, schedule and budget as well as progress of deliverables, client reviews, technical input, and comment resolution.
- Ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures, laws and regulations, and keeps current on compliance-related areas.
- Monitors workload to meet billable hour expectations and performs timely reviews of work product prior to submission to supervisors for further review.
- Assists in planning engagements to achieve quality and efficiency goals.
- Documents procedures performed, findings and/or other issues and drafts/compiles work papers, reports and client correspondence exhibiting effective writing skills.
- Performs effective on-the-job training to other team members and demonstrates positive leadership skills within the Consulting Department.
- May provide direction for staff & interns.
- Provides resolution for process and procedure issues, provides prompt feedback to supervisors regarding staff performance.
- Builds and maintains trusted relationships with diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Assists in the preparation of proposals and develops network for future practice engagement opportunities.
- Maintains the required CPE for Firm and licensing requirements.
Other Duties:
- Provides courteous and prompt service to all internal and external parties. Prioritizes and addresses requests and assignments in a professional and cooperative manner.
- Identifies opportunities and recommends methods to improve service, and work processes. Assists in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- May assist co-workers in the completion of tasks and assignments to ensure continuity of service and demonstrating team work skills. Actively supports teamwork throughout the organization.
- Perform other services as assigned.
Other Considerations:
- May periodically travel and work from different company locations.
- May be required to work overtime, and/or on weekends as needed.
- Must arrive at EisnerAmper offices or client locations in a timely manner and be ready to perform job responsibilities.
