Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Policy Governance and Risk Strategy, our GRC Program Advisor role supports the development and management of GRC strategy and tracking progress against initiatives, assisting with aggregate security risk metrics, analytics and reporting, risk assessments and monitoring, roadmap planning and program management. This role will support overseeing the overall GRC security program as directed by the GRC leadership and manages the risk framework, methodology, and taxonomy. This role will be responsible for driving the enterprise education, communication and adoption of security risk management practices matrixing with stakeholders in senior leadership. This role will interface with GRC leadership to manage consolidating strategy, budget, and initiative tracking to ensure key milestones are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project management functions across the entire GRC program, tracking initiative milestones, managing consolidation of inputs from GRC leaders into reporting and strategy, and coordinating across GRC key deadlines plans/calendars.
- Advise on GRC risk management program components including methodology, policy, and taxonomy of the Information Security GRC program.
- Manage EIS GRC communication plans, enterprise security risk management educational materials and integrate risk management education into other enterprise communication vehicles.
- Inventory, perform gap analysis, and oversee maintenance of EIS GRC procedures ensuring there is a complete inventory that is current and routinely revised.
- Monitoring CSF Framework assessment action items and commitments.
- Developing information, applying strong writing skills with consideration to clarity, consistency, presentation and logical organization.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in information security, risk management, supplier governance, third party security risk, and/or information technology related experience
- 2+ years of experience in evaluating security capabilities of external entities and/or technology implementations, documenting gaps and prioritizing risk security risk
- 2+ years of experience with security domains and frameworks including applicability to key regulations or industry standards (NIST, ISO, HITRUST, HIPAA, PCI)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of information security technologies and frameworks, risks and controls
- Information security policies and procedures
- Effective use of Reporting dashboards, reporting and presentation tools (PowerBI, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
- Regulatory standards including NIST, SOX, SOC, HIPAA, PCI and HITRUST
- A self-driven and motivated individual who can clearly articulate complex security concepts to leadership and to stakeholders outside of Information Security
- Healthcare, Insurance or Retail industry business practices and risks
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range:
The typical pay range for this role is: $101,970.00 - $203,940.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
