Requirements:

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends & evenings.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking engaging questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Timely follow-up with clients to ensure referral business.
- Assist the department manager to meet and ensure departmental objectives of the dealership’s annual budget and achieve the departmental goals of the business plan;
- Provide and ensure exceptional customer service in the vehicle department, maintaining a personal customer satisfaction rating from the manufacturer at or above the company standard;
- Provide insight and ideas to the department in order to maintain a sustained, competitive advantage;
- Turn over 100 percent of closed transactions to the Business Manager along with properly completed paperwork (insurance information, trade title, etc.).
- Write complete sales orders and process paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
- Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival and perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
- Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Know and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales.
- Sell/lease and deliver a minimum number of units as defined in the dealership sales pay plan.
- Attend product and sales training courses as requested by the sales manager.
- Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
- Know and understand equity and values, and be able to explain depreciation to the customer.
- Follow up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
- Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively (CRM).
- Assist with snow removal. Move/arrange vehicles on the lot.
- Assure that keys and dealer plates are properly maintained to prevent loss or theft.
