Job Summary:
McDonough Hyundai is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in McDonough, Georgia. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that offers a base salary plus commission structure in the thriving auto industry. As the first point of contact for our valued customers, the Automotive Service Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales for our dealership.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $120,000, with the potential to earn additional commission through sales performance. In addition, the selected candidate will be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options. We also offer ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow professionally in your role.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services at the dealership
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, and listen to their concerns and needs
• Provide accurate and timely estimates for repairs and services, and obtain approval from customers before proceeding with work
• Maintain open communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns
• Utilize dealership software and tools to schedule appointments, track service records, and maintain customer profiles
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and up to quality standards
• Upsell and promote additional services to customers to increase sales and profitability
• Close out transactions and process payments accurately and securely
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services and address any issues or concerns
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or ASE certification is a plus
• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry, with previous experience as a service advisor preferred
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Proficient in using dealership software and tools for scheduling, record-keeping, and transactions
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
