Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Starlight sells new homes in Atlanta, Austin, Charleston, Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Orlando, Phoenix, Raleigh, San Antonio, and Tampa.
Position Overview:
This is a commission-based role.
- Learn and conduct Starlight sales process while demonstrating exceptional customer service.
- Understand the home building process and product offerings to effectively communicate to prospects.
- Demonstrate an understanding and excitement regarding Starlight Homes’ outlook, including the opportunity to build a strong foundation of values and culture.
- Deliver outstanding customer service through inbound phone calls in accordance with Starlight Homes training.
- Develop, practice, and deliver a good sales presentation consistent with company training.
- Engage with new prospects, follow up with interested prospects, and set appointments to close.
- Respond to customer queries in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Maintain communication with Starlight Homes team members.
- Attend, provide updates, and actively participate in weekly meetings as scheduled.
- Communicate with Sales Manager and present organized information regarding passive and engaged prospects.
- Utilize all resources to transition leads into prospective customers and consistently follow up with customers who are under contract.
- Generate referrals through upholding a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
- Enter leads, appointments, and all communication into Salesforce daily.
- Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, including visiting real estate offices and networking.
Other Responsibilities:
- Present Starlight Homes in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
- Be a subject matter expert on the homebuilding process, educating all prospects on what to expect.
- Immerse self in community information and trends, including schools, utilities, tax information, recreational areas, shopping areas, etc.
- Work with clients to understand and identify their vision while aligning the perfect home to meet their needs.
- Use training modules to stay consistent with Starlight’s process and continuously strive to improve sales delivery.
- Call all customers the night before loan application to ensure they are prepared with necessary documents.
- Call all customers the night of sale to congratulate them on their new home.
- Call all customers under contract at least once a week to maintain customer rapport.
- Respond to phone calls and e-mails within 24 hours.
Desired Candidate Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of proven track record within a direct selling role.
- Driver's License Required.
- Real Estate License Required. Starlight Homes is willing to assist those without a real estate license to obtain one, in part of reimbursement policy.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends (will either have Monday/Tuesday off or Thursday/Friday off).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exemplify a high level of professionalism in appearance and daily interactions.
- Support all team members and exude a collaborative approach.
- Maintain an adaptable and flexible attitude.
- Handle high-volume situations.
- Strong work ethic, drive, positive attitude, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including sales software and Microsoft Office.
- Maintain an organized workspace and help keep the office presentable.
Typical Physical and Mental Demands:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English and perform calculations.
- Ability to hear and have vision sufficient to utilize all office equipment.
- Use of hands and fingers is required to utilize standard office equipment.
- Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed in a typical office environment using standard office equipment. Work is typically sedentary in nature, but some walking and standing may be required. Fast-paced environment subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.
