Integrated Vulnerability Management (IVM) Lead Consultant

Location: Newark, New Jersey, USA (hybrid)

We are looking for an IVM Lead Consultant for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role, and the candidate will have regular interactions with various client leaders.
• This is a hybrid role, and the candidate is expected to be in the office 2-3 days a week; thus, should be ready to relocate if not local to Newark, New Jersey, USA.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot any VM tool-related and scanning issues.
Manage the application server and scanners.
Management, administration, and upgrade of Insight VM, Tenable Nessus Sc, and Tenable IO.
Advise on tactical and strategic improvements to the Rapid7 and Nessus platform.
Take day-to-day direction from our client.
Document standard operating procedures (SOP) at the direction from our client.
Maintain the platform.
Design strategy to implement effective vulnerability management leveraging automated technology.
Provide enhanced vulnerability analysis and contextual feedback to stakeholders for resolution of discovered vulnerabilities or misconfigurations.
Engage with stakeholders and business units to resolve identified vulnerabilities.
Recommend approaches for addressing vulnerabilities, including system patching, deployment of specialized controls, and infrastructure changes.
Drive identified vulnerabilities to remediation by planning and documenting remediation activities and plans with system and application owners.
Promote collaboration with stakeholders to prioritize the remediation of vulnerabilities and close potential attack vectors.
Provide technical feedback on proposed solutions to identified vulnerabilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

8-12 years of IT Infrastructure experience in the Security domain.
Security PG – Cyber Defense.
Rapid7 Insight VM.
Tenable Nessus Sc.
Nexpose.
Nessus and Qualys.
