Network Automation Consultant
What We Need
NetBrain is looking for an enthusiastic, relationship-minded and technically savvy individual to join us as a Network Automation Consultant in our Services Engineering Team. We need someone who is ready to help our customers transform their organizations by creating a culture of no-code automation innovation.
The Impact You’ll Make
As a Network Automation Consultant with NetBrain, you will be the driving force behind adoption of our no-code automation platform within our client accounts. You will work cross-functionally within the customer organization developing relationships with engineers from L1 NOC Engineers to Senior Directors and everyone in between. You'll adapt corporate strategy, design automation architecture, and lead/enable ongoing automation development efforts while utilizing your excellent communication skills to provide leadership, training, and guidance to clients and engineers. Your consultative approach will help you evaluate client requirements, propose solutions, and accelerate automation objectives. You'll also collaborate with NetBrain sales account executives, customer success managers, NetBrain Automation Architects, and Technical Support.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary solutions consultant for the deployed NetBrain Automation Platform
- Build strong technical relationships with network tools, network operations, security operations, cloud, and systems architects
- Perform preventative maintenance of the NetBrain platform to provide visibility for customer's diverse network protocols and technologies: VxLAN/SD-WAN/ACI/Cloud/VMware/IGP/BGP/MPLS, etc.
- Consult with key knowledge holders to understand network environment and existing troubleshooting playbooks with identification of high impact automation targets through incident data analysis
- Architect, implement, and integrate customized automation solutions into customer diagnostic workflows
- Delivery of in-person and virtual product training to customer teams during services engagement
- Document updates on customer health and progress toward customer milestones
- Create and maintain customer-facing materials including knowledge base articles, solutions guides, and video content
- 10% travel to client's sites
Who You Are
- US citizen is required.
- You have a degree in a technical subject (STEM) or equivalent work experience preferably in a partner/post-sales services or consultant role
- Experience collaborating with internal or external clients to translate business requirements into technical requirements
- You have knowledge of networking fundamentals
- You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with little supervision and guidance.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
What We Offer
Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $100,000 - $126,000 + Bonus & Stock Options. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
The range listed above is a guideline, and may be modified.
