The Clinic Manager (CM) provides leadership for all aspects of a clinic that consistently meets or exceeds a revenue target of $100k/month with an emphasis on meeting short- and long-term goals, and clinic & staff development. The Clinic Manager serves as a high producing member of the sales team, personally seeing consultations to generate revenue, overcome objections, and help to change patients' lives by selling our products and services. The CM will not only be responsible for their individual sales KPIs but also center standards as well. They will oversee the driving of set business goals, measuring team effectiveness, and monitoring results. This role will consist of hiring, coaching, and evaluation of team members while providing effective training. The Clinic Manager will have direct P&L management responsibility for their clinic and will work hand-in-hand with the Medical Provider to maximize profitability & ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads all operations within the four-walls of the clinic, which includes, but is not limited to: maintaining a motivated, engaged & effective team, optimizing staff utilization, ensuring policies & procedures are followed, implementing company-wide initiatives, and maintaining accurate inventory of food, supplements, and supplies.
- Owns the clinic P&L and is held accountable for Top-Line and Profitability Performance: drives new patient acquisition, patient retention, and patient satisfaction to grow revenue while managing all controllable expenses (payroll, supplies, inventory shrink) to meet clinic-level profitability goals.
- Leads and manages the patient care and sales teams to ensure business goals, profitability, and retention goals are met.
- Coaches and develops new members of the sales team to OMWL KPI standards.
- Ensures high level of patient care and satisfaction by continually improving service levels.
- Creates a KPI-driven culture with emphasis on critical performance factors like retention, answer rate, lead generation, and staff utilization.
- Executes effective strategy and tactics to create positive team dynamics through constant coaching, mentoring, hiring, and training.
- Builds and sustains a high-performance culture through attracting, developing, and retaining a highly motivated team.
- Creates a culture of collaboration and accountability, and places emphasis on career pathing/employee development.
- Evaluates employee performance; places emphasis on career pathing/employee development and makes recommendations for promotions.
- Thoroughly understands all Options programs and serves as a subject matter expert on the programs. Ensures all clinic staff are kept informed of any new programs or changes to existing programs, and trains clinic staff to be subject matter experts as well.
- Fully capable of performing the roles of all other clinic staff and serves as back-up on those duties as needed.
- Works with Regional Director to establish short-term objectives and long-range goals and related plans.
- Reviews the results of all operations, comparing them with the company’s objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results.
- Ensures the clinic's compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA protocols.
- Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.
- Must have weekend availability.
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
- Five years in a management role within the weight loss, retail, medical spa, or related industry required.
- Three years of experience in a sales role.
- Three years of inventory and budget management.
- Three years of people management experience, including setting and reaching quotas.
- Two years of interviewing and selection experience.
