Our client is seeking one of the top 10% of candidates to provide leadership to their dynamic Critical Care Department.
The Clinical Nurse Manager ensures the delivery of quality patient care by assuring adequate staffing in addition to appropriate skills and abilities to meet patient problems.
Responsibilities:
- Delegating duties appropriately and directing staff in the delivery of care.
- Assuring the appropriate utilization of resources.
- Assuring the financial control of department.
- Collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care.
- The Nurse Manager must be sensitive to the needs of patients, families, and fellow co-workers, and support the mission of the hospital.
Requirements:
- Current (or eligible) RN licensure by the State of Wisconsin or another compact state.
- BSN required.
- Graduate from an approved school of Nursing.
- 1-3 years management or supervisory experience.
- CPR certification required for all Registered Nurses prior to working on the unit and must maintain every 2 years.
- ACLS required within one year and must achieve BLS instructor status within one year of employment.
- Able to apply principles of shift/unit management, personnel supervision, teaching and budget.
