Description of the role:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for our flexible schedule positions at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu. Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
- Monitor and promptly report any changes in residents' physical and mental health to the supervising nurse.
- Provide invaluable emotional support and engage residents in a variety of recreational activities.
- Meticulously observe and record residents' vital signs, promptly alerting the nurse of any irregularities.
- Create clean and organized living spaces for our cherished residents.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferences.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid CNA certification from an accredited program.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare or senior care facility.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be flexible in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Have the physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
