We are hiring Homecare Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses - full time and per diem for our next orientation starting on October 23, 2024. We care for mental health patients of all ages and backgrounds who require daily visits in their home in the surrounding areas:
Position 1: RN or LPN Full Time AM Shift in Malden, Everett, Medford and the surrounding areas, up to $80K annually plus incentive pay.
Position 2: RN or LPN Per Diem AM/ PM shifts on the Weekends required in Malden, Everett, Medford and the surrounding areas, up to $35/visit.

Are you the Nurse we're looking for?
To thrive as a Nurse at Comfort Home Care, you'll need a toolkit filled with essential skills and a dash of enthusiasm! As an RN or LPN, you'll begin by providing thorough initial and ongoing assessments to accurately identify each client's unique medical needs and level of functioning. Your ability to initiate and adapt the plan of care is crucial, along with performing OASIS assessments when needed. You'll coordinate services seamlessly, ensuring that physicians and colleagues are informed of any changes in your client's condition.
Collaboration is key, so working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare providers will be an integral part of your role. Lastly, your attention to detail will shine as you prepare clinical notes and submit required paperwork punctually, keeping everything in line with agency policies. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- RN or LPN provides initial and ongoing assessments to identify the client's medical needs level of functioning and ability to communicate and learn.
- RN or LPN initiates the plan of care necessary revisions and performs OASIS assessments at appropriate time points when applicable.
- RN or LPN initiates and performs appropriate nursing interventions.
- RN or LPN coordinates service and informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the client's condition and needs.
- RN or LPN collaborates with patient /family and other health care providers and/or community resources with planning of care and discharge.
- RN or LPN repares clinical and progress notes and submits all required paperwork in a timely manner according to agency policy and procedure.
