About You
Thrive Pet Healthcare Elgrin is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join our tenured team of doctors, nursing staff and compassionate front office team members to ensure your clients and patients are getting the best in veterinary medicine care.
Experience & Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Our Equine Division is a thriving, nationally known primary care and referral hospital that sees a diverse array of patients. Our staff is talented, experienced and dedicated to serving your horse’s needs.
In addition to services listed below, we are proud to offer Hallmarq’s unique standing MRI. With this diagnostic imaging tool, we are able to perform an MRI on your horse’s leg without general anesthesia.
We are also here to help keep your horse competing and feeling their best. Our sports medicine services include pre-purchase exams, diagnostic blocks, digital radiography, IRAP, Stem Cell Therapy, PRP, Shockwave and digital ultrasound.
Bovine Division
The Bovine Division has many years of experience serving the food animal industry in many production areas including purebred cattle, commercial cow/calf, stocker, feed lot, bucking stock, as well as club calf producers. Our staff is here to help with any animal needs or client requests.
We are open Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $150,000/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
