Advanced Practitioners manage a caseload of complex and high-risk offenders on court orders, many of whom have completed part of their sentence in custody. They draw on evidence-based frameworks to deliver dynamic case management practice with offenders who have complex needs and those who have committed serious offences.
You will help a caseload of complex and high-risk clients meet their court order conditions and connect them to community programs and services. You will also lead and mentor staff, guiding them to deliver quality evidence-based case management practice to clients.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Preparing case plans
- Providing interventions
- Coordinating service providers and care teams
- Addressing the underlying causes of offending
- Leading and developing case management staff.

What we're looking for in Advanced Practitioners
- Demonstrated experience in effective case management practices with complex clients
- Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence in dealing with people exhibiting challenging behaviours
- A proven ability to model pro-social behaviours to a caseload of individuals
- A passion for supporting clients in the justice system while contributing to community safety
- An ability to lead and mentor staff to achieve their best.
